On my card I used both Farm Fresh - Tractor rubber set 877 and Digital Set Digi877. I also used one older stamp set Silhouettes 493.

The tractor is from Digital Set. I printed out pre colored image and fussy cut it with scissors. Metal parts on the tractor are colored over with Versamarker Pen. I covered them with Clear Embossing Powder and heat embossed. That gives a nice shine to the tractor.
Sentiment is rubber stamp from Farm Fresh - Tractor set. It's stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Coffee Embossing Powder.

Big postage stamp behind the tractor is die cutted with Spellbinders Postage Stamps die. Square layer on top of it is simple: I used another sentiment from Farm Fresh - Tractor rubber set and I stamped it several times with  Safari Green Nuvo Hybrid Ink all over the square. Then I inked it with Peeled Paint Distress ink. Edges are covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Bronze Splendor Glitter.

I stamped and watercolored the background. I used stamps from Silhouettes stamp set and Safari Green Nuvo Hybrid Ink. Coloring is done with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens (Rustic Oak and Evergreen Fern) from Autumn Woodland. I also used Distress Inks (Hickory Smoke, Broken China).

Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Bronze Splendor Glitter. I also added some dots of Chocolate Fondue Nuvo Glitter Drops to the card.

The next stop on our blog hop is our super talented Shona

Greetings of the Season

Hi! Today I want to show a Christmas card made with digital stamps and digital pattern papers. I used Sparkle N Sprinkle Victorian Camille at Christmas Digital Set Digi864 and Winter Greetings Digital Papers Digi4005.

This pretty girl is a pre-colored image from Victorian Camille at Christmas Digital Set. I added some  Crystal Ice glitter to her dress, hat and muff with Sakura Glue Pen. Tiny dots of White Nuvo Crystal Drops was added to cover up the falling snow. I placed her behind the shaker window. To the inside of the window I added Diamond Dust glitter, White Micro Beads and few Snowflake sequins.

On the background I used digital pattern paper from Winter Greetings Digital Papers set. I sprinkled Super Thick White Embossing Powder on top and used the heat tool to melt the powder from underneath the paper. I love how it looks like a falling snow.
For the sentiment strip I did some digital layering and editing in my computer. I changed the opacity of the pattern paper, so it appears to be lighter. Then I placed the sentiment from Victorian Camille at Christmas Digital Set on top of the pattern and drew white lines below and above of the sentiment.

I wanted flowers to my card, so I used old die set from Marianne Design (Small Poinsettias) to make some white poinsettias. I added a bit color to them with Broken China Distress Ink. Midnight Blue Nuvo Crystal Drops was added to the flower centers.
Foliage is die cut with Small Fir Spray die by Signature Dies. The are cut out of cardstock which was covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. I applied Reflection Glitter to all the foliage.

Card is embellished with few Snowflake sequins and lots of Nuvo Crystal DropsMidnight Blue was added around the shaker window and White was placed to the center of sequins.

Edges of the matting layers was covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape  and Reflection Microfine Glitter. Sentiment layer is adhered from the ends straight to the background but from the middle it's adhered with the foam tape.

Gentle Thoughts

My favorite stamp set from latest Sparkle N Sprinkle reveal was Lovely Magnolia 853. I had so much fun playing with it and Nuvo Aqua Flow Brush Pens.

Stamp set comes with two individual flower images, I only used one. To make a flower cluster I had to do some masking. I started with stamping one big flower with Versamark ink to a watercolor paper and heat embossed it with  Gold Detail Embossing Powder. Then I stamped same image with random color ink to a Post-it note paper and fussy cut it out with scissor to make my mask. I placed the mask on top of the stamped flower and stamped two more flowers to its sides same way as the first one.
Flowers and leaves are colored with Nuvo Aqua Flow Brush Pens from Spring Meadow set (Soft Rose, Fresh Green). Background is colored with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink mixed with a bit of Aqua Flow Fresh Green. Flower centers are covered with Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops.

Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink to a piece of black cardstock and it's heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I used corner rounder punch to round up two of the corners. Then I took Versamarker Pen and covered three edges of the cardstock with it. Again I used Gold Detail Embossing Powder and melted it with heat tool. Some dots of Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops was also added.

To add some interest to the gray background around the flowers I took a bit of White paint and diluted it with water. With small paintbrush I sprinkled some paint to the background.
I wanted more black to my card so I made a black matting layer. For that I covered edges of cardstock with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and adhered image layer in center of it. Rest of the tape was covered with  Black Suede Microfine Glitter.
To finish off my card I added lots of dots with Nuvo Jewel Drops (Orange MarmaladeKey Lime) and few with Nuvo Glitter Drops (Honey Gold).

All stamping was done with Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. It is must have tool if the surface you are stamping is not smooth. You can stamp with it in same place as many times as you need. Another thing I used to get second and third flower stamped exactly to the place I needed was full sheet of acetate. I placed the stamp in the middle of Stamp Platform lid.  Then I placed acetate to the corner of the Platform and stamped the image to it with colored ink. While keeping the acetate in the corner I placed the cardstock underneath to the acetate. I moved the cardstock until flower on the acetate was in perfect place. I added magnet to keep the cardstock there it needed to be, removed the acetate and stamped the image to the cardstock.

Tricks for Treats

Hi! It's Autumn already and Halloween is just around the corner. It's perfect time for stamps for this holiday. Sparkle N Sprinkle revealed a cute Halloween stamp set in September - A Puppy's Halloween. On my card I used colored image from A Puppy's Halloween Digital Set and added some sparkle and shine to it.

Image is cut out with Spellbinders die (Labels Eighteen). With Sakura Glue Pen I adhered Autumn Frost Microfine Glitter to the broom and ground. Puppy's nose and eyes are covered with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops. The buckle of his hat is covered with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen. After glue was dried tacky I added Nuvo Gilding Flakes (Sunkissed Copper). I wanted fun embellishments around the Puppy so I took a random color of Nuvo Crystal Drops (Neptune Turquoise in this case) and squeezed some dots to non-stick craft mat and covered them with Hyacinth Microfine Glitter. After they ware dry, I glued them to my card and added few more dots with Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops.
For the matting layer I used same Spellbinders die as a template and traced the outer edge to the cardstock. After cutting it out with scissors I covered edges with Nuvo Glue Pen (Medium tip) and adhered image layer in center. After glue was dried tacky I covered it with Hyacinth Microfine Glitter.

Sentiment is from same digital set. I placed it on top of yellow background and printed them out together. I used largest die from Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two set to cut it out. Edges of the label and decorative elements around the sentiment are covered with Medium size Nuvo Glue Pen. After glue was dried tacky I added Sunkissed Copper Nuvo Gilding Flakes on top. The bow is made from piece of 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape which was covered from both sides with Autumn Frost Glitter.

To the left side of the label I adhered a strip of glittered ribbon (Watch Glitter Ribbon Technique tutorial). I used piece of 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and covered it with Autumn Frost Glitter. Dots of Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Crystal Drops was added on top.

For the background I used orange paper and ran it through Lattice Embossing Folder by Creative Expressions. Background needed more color so I took Aubergine Nuvo Embellishment Mousse and added it with sponge to some parts.
Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. After adhering embossed background in center of matting layer, I covered rest of the tape with  Hyacinth Microfine Glitter.

I decided to share Today a colorful and sparkly spring card made with Birdhouse Friends Digital Set. I used pre-colored image from the set and printed it out three times. Houses are fussy cut with scissors and adhered with foam tape to the full image.
I added lots of sparkle with Glitters and Glitter Drops: Eggs, butterfly and bird beaks are covered with White Blizzard, roof of the pink house, heart on the grey house and ladybug are covered with Pink Champagne and flower centers with Orange Soda Nuvo Glitter Drops. All glitters are adhered with Sakura Glue PenCabernet Glitter to grey house, Lemonade to the flowers and Easy Green to the leaves and grass.

Sentiment is from same Birdhouse Friends Digital Set. After printing it out in the size I needed it to be, I colored inside of the words with yellow marker. I found an old wooden mini frame and covered it with Stampendous Embossing Ink and heat embossed with Bahama Mama Embossing Powder. I repeated steps with ink and EP few times until I got nice thick coverage.

And now comes a little tip. If you don't have suitable patter paper, make it yourself by largening pre-golored digi image and cover everything with glitter. That's what I did. I made the image very large and cut it a bit smaller then my card base was. Then I added 3/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the left side and 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the right side of the big image. I left the cap in between tapes on purpose. There was no point to waist lovely glitters to the space that is not going to be visible. After removing protective sheets from the tapes, I did some coloring with Semi-Transparent glitters: With small spoon I added Sunny Daze Glitter to the flowers, Aqua Marine Glitter to the leaves and grass. Waterfall Glitter was added to the rest of the tape.

Edges of the matting layers are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Cabernet  Microfine Glitter. Some dots of Nuvo Glitter Drops (Orange SodaPink Champagne) was added around the image panel and sentiment.

I was the last stop on the hop. I hope you had lots of fun. If you started the hop from the middle, you should go to the beginning, to Belinda's blog, and continue as long as you have seen all projects. Don't forget you must leave a comment on each of the Designers' blogs in order to be selected as the winner.

Winter Bird House

Hi! Here is one older card I haven't shared with you before. I used two Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp sets on it: Winter Bird House #803, Flourishes 2 #520.

I stamped the Winter Bird House with Memento Tuxedo Black ink to the white cardstock and colored it with Promarkers. After coloring I used Spellbinders die from Radiant Rectangle set to cut it out and before removing paper from the die I inked it with Broken China Distress ink.
I added glue with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen to birds earmuffs and a hat tuft and covered them with Twinkling Clouds Flocking. Snow and snowflakes are covered with same glue but I used Olaf White glitter from Frozen Glitter Set instead of Flocking. Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen was also used to draw a frame to a die cut piece. Glue was covered with Denim Microfine Glitter. Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops was applied to the icicles, bird feeder and the snowballs.

To make the background paper I stamped the biggest flourish from Flourishes #2 stamp set to the white cardstock with  Versamark ink and heat embossed them with Quick Silver Embossing Powder. Then I smudged different Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Fired Brick) to the craft mat, spritzed them with water, placed the cardstock to the wet ink, dried the CS and placed it to the ink again. After everything was dry, I sprinkled some Magic Speckle EP on top and heat set from underneath the cardstock. As a final touch I took the Gold Gel Pen and draw some lines near the flourishes.

Bottom edge and the notch on the top of the background was die cutted with Spellbinders die (A2 Scalloped Borders One). Layer underneath it was inked with Scattered Straw Distress ink. I applied Versamark ink on top and heat embossed with Sparkle Embossing Powder.

A bit of greenery is die cutted out of Sticker Paper with MemoryBox die (Flowering Christmas Tree). I covered it with Meadow Spark Glitter.

For the matting layer I took a piece of cardstock and adhered 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape all around the edges and covered it with Denim Microfine Glitter.
